Mimosa House                                                                                          Constructed some thirty years ago in neo-colonial style, with beautiful waterfront gardens leading onto the coral sand beach, it is an oasis of calm.

The house possesses its own special charm of opulent seclusion. The deluxe interior combines the traditionally hand-crafted with modern day luxury. Original paintings and furniture from all over the world compliment the unique architecture combining the local stone and woodwork. The restful lounge and dining room area have direct access to the gazebo and floral gardens fronting the seashore.

With one double deluxe en-suite bedroom and two twin en-suite bedrooms and built from traditional West Indian hardwoods, the Mimosa House is ideal for, 2, 4 or 6. There is also an extra room with two small beds for children if necessary.

Mimosa Apartment                                                                                         The apartment enjoys its own private garden, with views to the sunset and space to relax in privacy. It compromises a large lounge/dining area with kitchenette, plus two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It is therefore ideal for families or two couples.

Location                                                                                                         The sensational location of the two Mimosa House properties on the beachfront, close to the main centre of Port Elizabeth looking out onto the azure waters of Admiralty Bay with its abundant sea life - birds, turtles, manta rays and fish - make it a particularly special place where groups of up to 12 people can be accommodated.

The placid waters of the beach facing west make it both a safe place for swimming and a fabulous sunset site. The "Green flash" can frequently be seen, while enjoying that special sun downer, from the gazebo, veranda or patio, or whilst relaxing in the hammock.....

Port Elizabeth is a lazy five minute walk along the waterfront sea-path, past easy going West Indian beach bars, a spa and beauty salon and western style hotels offering rum punches and lobster dinners as well as steaks and hamburgers. Port Elizabeth also has super markets, delicatessens, many boutiques and local street "Jump Ups"
